Title: Networks, Random Graphs and Percolation
Abstract: We present different random graph models and analyze
whether these models share the stylized facts of real world networks
such as financial networks and social networks. Thereby we discuss
the Erdos-Renyi random graph, the Newman-Strogatz-Watts random
graph, nearest-neighbor bond percolation, homogeneous long-range
percolation, heterogeneous long-range percolation and continuum
space long-range percolation. For these models we study degree
distributions, sizes of connected components and graph distances.
